Distribute audio from a single source to up to four different rooms in your home over inexpensive cat. 5 twisted pair wiring. The Rack-Mount 1x4 A-BUS Distribution Module delivers power and audio signals to 4 amplified keypads (sold separately). Using four emitter outputs, the module allows IR signals detected by the keypads to control such audio source devices as CD players and AM/FM tuners. Both RJ-45 and 110 punchdown connectors are available for the cat. 5 connections for easy setup at the user's preference.

A-BUS is an audio distribution technology that uses category 5 cable to distribute power, audio, and IR control signals. Power and line-level audio signals are delivered to the keypads that amplify the signal and distribute it to a pair of speakers (sold separately). The keypads have IR sensors that detect signals from remote controls (sold separately) and transmit the IR signals through the cat. 5 wire back to the Rack-Mount 1x4 A-BUS Distribution Module, which activates the IR emitters (sold separately) that control the source devices.
The Rack-Mount 1x4 A-BUS Distribution Module can support up to four keypads for four connected rooms in your home. The module also has an expansion output to connect to additional units.
The Rack-Mount 1x4 A-BUS Distribution Module is powered by a 24V DC power supply, which is included with the module. Mount the Rack-Mount 1x4 A-BUS Distribution Module in your equipment rack or in any standard structured wiring enclosure.
