Unless you use the S-Video connectors you will not get the full resolution your equipment is capable of producing. S-Video cables carry two signals, Luminance and Chrominance. These two signals carry detailed information about the signal quality. Each signal-carrying conductor is fully shielded with copper stranding. The connectors are non-magnetic.

I was very impressed at how easy it was to order through smarthome but even more impressed at the price that I paid for a 50 foot s-video cable. Chain stores not only did not have a 50 foot cable, but they charged alot more money for 25 foot cables than I paid for a 50 footer. Thank You,
