The A-BUS Cat. 5 Whole-House Audio System is an innovative new multi-room audio technology that enables you to have music in any or every room in your home. But unlike traditional audio distribution methods, which can be expensive and complicated, A-BUS is distributed throughout the home with affordable, easily-accessible Cat. 5 cable. The kit includes one of each: Single-source Distribution Module, Panel Distribution Module, Universal ABUS Remote Control, 24V DC Power Supply, Dual IR Emitter, and 4 Amplified Keypads (see decription of each on the details and specifications below).

The culmination of almost a decade of research, A-BUS allows unprecedented placement flexibility, ease of operation and sound performance. A-BUS is the easy, affordable way to enjoy high quality music wherever you want.
Previously, wiring a home for sound was expensive with many technical limitations, such as sound loss and inflexibility. In addition, multiple cables were required, which proved not only to be costly, but complicated. But A-BUS simplifies everything by transmitting stereo audio, infrared, power and over a single, inexpensive run of Cat. 5 cable to each room.

A-BUS delivers control into the hands of the user. The volume in each room can be individually controlled. Once a house is wired for A-BUS, you can choose to have music installed in any room - now or in the future. The ABUS Kit 8345 is complete for four zones of audio distribution, but you may also need:
