If you already own or plan to purchase a HiFi Works CA308 Single Source 4-Zone Amplifier, consider adding the HiFi Works CA308 IR Remote Control. This remote control gives you the ability to wirelessly operate the CA308 amplifier via an infrared (IR) signal. The amplifier can distribute an audio source, such as a CD player or MP3 player, out to four pairs of speakers and four independent zones. Once your zones have been created, you can control the Volume Up/Down, Zone On/Off and All Zones On/Off functions all from the comfort of your couch using this remote control. Whether you want to have music on in the game room, kitchen, back patio or home theater, you can adjust the volume and turn each zone on and off individually or collectively using the remote control. The CA308 remote has range of up to 30 feet within a 30° range from the centerline of the IR receiver on the keypad controller. This product requires the use of a HiFi Works In-Wall Keypad Controller and IR Receiver, sold separately. A CR205 battery is also required for operation, included.
