The Air DAC iWireless system from NuForce lets you stream music from your Apple mobile device to your home or office audio system with ease. Receive CD-quality audio with no latency and no interference with this system. The iWireless System is comprised of the iTX Transmitter and the Air DAC Receiver and is extremely basic to setup and requires no additional software to download, pairing requirements, or even a WiFi connection to operate. Simply plug an RCA Cable into the Air DAC Receiver and into your home audio system, plug the 30-pin iTX Transmitter into your Apple device and play. The Air DAC Receiver utilizes a new wireless technology known as SKAA. SKAA is a wireless hifi audio standard that was created specifically for the sole purpose of streaming HD music signals from personal portable devices to quality home stereo systems.
The iTX works along with the Air DAC Wireless System and operates on a 2.4GHz radio band. The Air DAC Receiver utilizes a premium quality Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) stage and simple one-button SKAA control. Because the iTX works on a radio band, you will experience no interference from other wireless electronic devices. This transmitter can send audio to four separate Air DAC receivers.
The Nuforce iTX Transmitter is compatible with all the following Apple devices that use a 30-pin connector:
iPod Touch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation)
iPod Classic
iPod Nano (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th generation)

A Digital to Analog Converter, also known as a DAC, is a device that converts a digital code to an analog signal. Most modern audio signals are stored in digital form (for example MP3s and CDs) and in order to be heard through speakers they must be converted into an analog signal. Most digital music players, such as a Smartphone or iPod, and PC sound cards come with internal DACs, although, they are very basic and do not deliver music in high resolution. Nuforce DAC systems not only convert the digital audio codes to analog, they upgrade them to studio quality sound, the way the recording artist intended for you to hear them.
