The NuVo Kevlar 6.5-Inch Dual-Coil Stereo Speaker is part of NuVo's AccentPlus2 line, which features high-quality components, such as cones made of Dupont™ Kevlar®, a light, more rigid material for better bass response, and its long throw magnet allows more movement in the cone for enhanced performance. Mylar, bridge-mounted tweeters fill out the impressively full, impeccably clean sound for an audio experience that is never compromised.
Improved 12dB crossover helps to create a balanced and more defined listening experience. Solid brass spring-loaded terminals eliminate corrosion and provide better audio quality. Additional features include butyl rubber surround for years of high performance and a special perforated speaker basket to protect the speaker from debris.
This single 6 1/2-inch in-ceiling stereo speaker is ideal for a smaller room or to help fill out an extremely large one. A pair of 6 1/2-inch in-ceiling speakers is also available, featuring two tweeters that pivot 30 degrees for accurate sound landscaping; add a pair of 6 1/2-inch in-wall speakers. Eight-inch in-wall and in-ceiling speakers are also available to be purchased separately.
AccentPLUS2 speakers were designed to complement your home's décor. The small-perforation grills can be painted to match your home's style. In fact, every AccentPLUS speaker comes complete with a paint shield to protect the speakers whenever you redecorate.
