And since you'll be able to connect four S-Video devices simultaneously, you'll never have to worry about disconnecting and reconnecting components every time you want to switch devices. Switching is done automatically, so there's no buttons to press or remotes to use. Just use your components just as you normally would, and the Auto Switcher will sense which signal to switch to. LEDs on the front indicate which source is active. With Automatic Power On/Off the unit will switch off if no input signal is detected after 10 minutes. Automatically powers back on when the first input video signal is detected.
Automatic Input Video Signal Transform Function
The Sony S-Video Auto Switcher will automatic transform the S-Video (Y/C) input to Composite Video signal output, and vice-versa. This feature is especially convenient for dubbing from an S-video source to a recorder equipped only with composite video inputs.
