If you have a NuVo Dual AM/FM/Weather Tuner, XM tuner, or combination tuner connected to your NuVo whole-house audio system, now you can control it from any connected room in the house. Since all NuVo keypads have built-in infrared receivers, the Remote Control for NuVo Tuners can send IR signals back to the tuner through the cat. 5 connecting wire. The tuner and the NuVo whole-house systems and keypads are sold separately.

Since the NuVo tuners offer a wide variety of controls, you'll be able to scan each of your preset stations, seek up and down the frequency bands to find clear stations or tune up and down the bands to search for specific stations using the Remote Control for NuVo Tuners. You can even scan within your programmed genre categories.
The NuVo tuners are compatible with any audio system that is capable of repeating IR, as they are designed for IR control via infrared signals received by an audio distribution system. In the NuVo Simplese, Simplese D, or Essentia audio distribution systems (sold separately), the IR emitter outputs act as a repeater to IR signals incident on the system keypads; no external IR emitters are required.
The Remote Control for NuVo Tuners is powered by two AA batteries, which are included with the remote.
