    Six Audio Sources to Six Zones Throughout the Home
    The NuVo Essentia Audio Distribution System offers the power to choose from six different sound sources. Switching between sources is as easy as the touch of a button. You can even listen to multiple sound sources in six different zones simultaneously! Imagine listening to a classical CD in the kitchen while your spouse is hearing the rich, full sound of a DVD upstairs. Meanwhile your daughter is listening to pop music in the sun room, and your son and his friends are in the den, tuning into the big game. That's the power of choice. Just place a keypad in each zone; zones connect to your source equipment via cat. 5e cabling.

    Powerful Sound Output
    Although the NuVo Essentia Audio Distribution System is rated for 40 watts of power per zone (20 watts per left and right channel) for high-quality sound reproduction, it still offers a line output for use with external amplifiers when additional power is needed.

    Customize Sound for Every Room
    Whether you thrill to a pulse-pounding bass or soul-soaring highs, the unique equalization feature on NuVo keypads allows you to adjust the sound system to optimize the natural acoustics of each individual room.

    Integrate Your Keypads for Simplified Use
    If you like, the NuVo system keypads can be grouped. This enables open living spaces (such as the living room, dining room and kitchen) to share a listening choice, while still permitting individual volume control. Not only that, but the special "All Off" feature allows you to shut down your NuVo system with the press of a single button.

    Hand Control in the Palm of Your Hand
    NuVo Essentia comes standard with the NuVo RCI Remote (including batteries), giving you complete control of your NuVo system, all in one simple control. The keypads include white, ivory and almond faceplates and 36 pre-printed replacement buttons.

    Simple, Seamless Integration
    The revolutionary EZ-Port neatly conceals the individual connections for each listening zone in the wall. A single wire connection from the EZ-Port to the back of the Essentia amplifier cleanly and seamlessly integrates the entire system.

    Other features include:
    • Audio source grouping capability for today's open floor architecture
    • Built-in infrared receiver with a standard remote for easy wireless control
    • Mute function allows you to quickly silence the system when the phone or doorbell rings

    Monster Cable Provides Clean, Clear Signals
    A 500-foot spool of Monster standard 16-gauge, 4-conductor in-wall speaker cable is included with this kit. Monster uses very fine, high-purity copper strands twisted together in an interference-resistant pattern for maximum clarity. The high-frequency signals travel on the surface of conductors, resulting in the largest low-resistance surface area possible for these high-frequency signals. The result? A clean path for high-current bass signals. Interference-resistant winding is especially important for whole-house applications because of the long wire runs. A special low-friction outer jacket makes pulling the cable through walls easy. The cable is UL Class 3 rated for maximum protection.

    Cat. 5e Cable Included for Networking Keypads to Essentia System
    The included 350MHz cat. 5e cable meets UL spec 1700 for use with high-speed Data and Audio/Video networks at 135MHz. The cable is ideal for running in "noisy" environments. Its maximum pulling tension of 40 pounds and a minimum bend radius of one-quarter inch. It consists of four pair unshielded twisted pair cable.

    Expandable to a 12-Source, 12-Zone System
    To expand to a 12-Source/12-Zone system, you'll need the Essentia Expander Package (sold separately), which includes an amplifier, six keypads (also with multiple faceplates), a remote control with batteries and connecting cables.

    Expand With Extra Emitters
    Along with keypads, we also offer Single IR Emitters (sold separately) made specifically for use with NuVo systems. These emitters are attached to the end of a 10-foot cord and plug into to the back of the amplifier for remote operation of the original source units from IR-equipped wall controllers. You may use as many as six IR emitters per amplifier.

    Can Be Easily Rack-Mounted
    Want to mount your amplifier into a Middle Atlantic 19" equipment rack? No problem! Just attach optional Rackmount Ears (sold separately) and you'll be able to attach it to a rackmount system without the expense of a custom faceplate.

    Add a dual tuner (sold separately) to your audio distribution system, and you'll have a complete dual AM/FM/Weather tuner, an AM/FM/Weather and XM Satellite radio tuner, or a dual XM satellite radio tuner along with an auxiliary source distribution throughout your home. You can even control up to three of these tuners from any room in the house using a Remote Control for NuVo Tuners (sold separately). These IR remotes send signals through the integrated IR receivers in the connected keypads.

    The NuVo Essensia System, Monster cable, and cat. 5e cable are also available to be purchased separately.
