If you have the Grand Concerto 6-Source 8-Zone System set up in your home, you can listen to your iPod collection from any zone in and around your home, through your whole home audio system. Install the NuvoDock Wireless iPod Dock anywhere in your house and you'll be able to call up, browse and control your iPod instantly from the backlit display of any of the Grand Concerto Control Pads. This product can only be shipped to the billing address & only within the USA. Orders containing this item and shipping to an alternate address (non-billing address) will not be processed. The shipping & billing addresses must be the same. Canadian customers may ship to a U.S. address.

The NuvoDock works with Nuvo Concerto multiroom audio systems, and communicates via the NuVoNet protocol. Music and file metadata are transmitted over the network allowing users to navigate playlists and songs with a remote keypad. Because the dock communicates bi-directionally, data is sent to and from the receiver unit to the iPod dock and back again. This enables the Grand Concerto Control Pads to wirelessly control any iPod plugged into the NuvoDock placed anywhere in the home withing 150 feet.
The wireless iPod dock transmits three frequencies within the 2.4Ghz bandwidth utilizing frequency-hoping technology. When signals are sent the transmitter finds the most efficient path among the three frequencies in which to send a signal ensuring optimal sound and data communication. The transmit and receive antennas within the iPod dock send a constant audio signal and meta-data signal to the receiver unit which should be located near the Grand Concerto main component. The audio signal is then sent from the receiver unit to the Concerto system via a standard stereo RCA cable.
