Listen to satellite radio from any room in your home connected to your audio distribution system. The NuVo Dual SIRIUS/XM Ready AM/FM Tuner is an advanced tuner that provides clear SIRIUS/XM satellite and standard radio reception along with displaying artist and song information (metadata) on the front panel. A remote control is included as well as antennas and network cables. The internal NuVoNet capability of the unit allows it to easily communicate in real time with the NuVo Grand Concerto and NuVO Essentia whole-home audio distribution systems. When connected to a NuVo audio distribution system, two zones can listen to two different radio sources at once.
The NuVo Dual SIRIUS/XM-Ready AM/FM Tuner offers a wide variety of controls. Preset up to 5 banks of 20 presets using any of your favorite Sirius stations, and then group them according to specific genres. You can scan each of your preset stations, seek up and down the SIRIUS satellite band to find clear stations, or tune up and down the band to search for specific stations. A Channel menu is a SIRIUS function that offers quick access to the categories associated with SIRIUS. When selected, each category will expand to display the associated channels. You can also put a parental lock on SIRIUS channels with a 4-digit security code.
Important Note: SIRIUS/XM requires a subscription and must be activated through prior to using this player.

The vivid two-line display indicates the station frequency, along with customized preset information, or RDS (Radio Data Service) information. Broadcasters can use the RDS format to send artist and song information with their broadcast. If a station is broadcasting RDS, the NuVo Dual SIRIUS-Ready/AM/FM Tuner will automatically scroll what is being received. You can even store a specific display for future reference, should you need to recall specific RDS information at a later time. Since two tuners can be active at once, different rooms connected to your NuVo system will be able to toggle the source button among the SIRIUS stations, even listening to different stations at once.
If you have a NuVo Grand Concerto, sold separately, the NuVo Dual XM Satellite Tuner can provide direct, real-time communication across NuVoNet, the Concerto's complete system communication protocol. You'll have access to the NuVo Dual XM Satellite Tuner through your Concerto Display Keypads throughout your home as well as access to RDS streaming artist/selection information in real time.
