If you use the OmniLT, OmniPro II, or Omni IIe automation controller to manage your home's security and automation, you can easily add whole-house audio to every room in your house that has a touchscreen controller installed. The NuVo Essentia 6-Source 6-Zone Amplifier allows you to experience startlingly clear sound from any six audio sources in six different zones of your house. Access audio from any room in your house with an installed Omni Touch Screen Plug'n'Play, and for each audio zone you'll be able to control on/off, volume, muting, transports, audio source, and many other functions. The 36A05-4 Serial Connectivity Kit (sold separately) is required for connection.

The NuVo Essentia Audio Distribution System offers the power to listen to multiple sound sources in six different zones simultaneously. You can also use an HAI touchscreen to create modes to customize your music with your home control experience: Certain zones can be turned off or on at programmed times. For example, outdoor speakers can be turned off at night to prevent accidentally bothering the neighbors.
Although the NuVo Essentia Audio Distribution System is rated for 40 watts of power per zone (20 watts per left and right channel) for high-quality sound reproduction, it still offers a line output for use with external amplifiers when additional power is needed.
Four IR emitters are included with the amplifier, which can support up to six sources. Additional IR emitters can be purchased separately to expand your system.
Want to mount your amplifier into a Middle Atlantic 19" equipment rack? No problem! Just attach optional Rackmount Ears (sold separately) and you'll be able to attach it to a rackmount system without the expense of a custom faceplate.
Add a dual tuner (sold separately) to your audio distribution system, and you'll have a complete dual AM/FM/Weather tuner, an AM/FM/Weather and XM Satellite radio tuner, or a dual XM satellite radio tuner along with an auxiliary source distribution throughout your home.
The NuVo Essentia Audio Distribution System can also be purchased as a kit with six in-wall keypads for local room control without using an HAI system.
