By combining simplicity with user-friendly design, the Simplese D 4-Source 4-Zone System provides startlingly clean, pure sound from four distinct audio sources throughout the house at an affordable price. Control the sources from any zone using a keypad that delivers your IR commands back to the individual components. An IR remote control is also included for maximum flexibility and ease of use: Aim it at any connected keypad to control components remotely.

Choose from four sound sources using one of the four included keypads. Each keypad connects to the amplifier via cat. 5 cable, which carries power as well as IR signals for control; audio is carried over standard speaker wire from the keypad to local speakers. You can expand the Simplese to eight zones, ideal for larger living spaces, by adding a second Simplese controller and keypads. Add EZ-Port Connection Plates for simple installation.
All four zones can listen to different sources at once, so you can listen to a CD in the kitchen while your family tunes into the big game on AM radio in the living room. You can even group system keypads together to enable open living spaces to share a listening choice while still permitting individual volume control. The special "All Off" feature allows you to shut down your NuVo system with the press of a single button. In addition, the mute function immediately silences system for phone or doorbell rings, and a local source interrupt feature allows you to dedicate a local audio source to a zone.
The Simplese D has a built-in infrared engine that allows you to control source equipment from other rooms. Each of the four volume-control keypads that come with the system has an IR sensor cleverly concealed behind the translucent rubber volume button that can pick up signals from the included remote control or any individual component remote and route them to the four included IR emitters that attach to the source devices. You can also expand the number of emitters with single or dual IR Emitters (sold separately), which are attached to the end of a 10-foot cord for installation flexibility.
Mount the Simplese D amplifier in an equipment rack using the included rack mount ears or maintain it wherever you keep your A/V components. The slim, 6.5-pound design allows the amplifier to fit in a single rack space.
Add a dual tuner (sold separately) to the Simplese audio distribution system, and you'll have a complete dual AM/FM/Weather tuner, an AM/FM/Weather and XM Satellite radio tuner, or a dual XM satellite radio tuner along with an auxiliary source distribution throughout your home. You can even control up to three of these tuners from any room in the house using a Remote Control for NuVo Tuners (sold separately). These IR remotes send signals through the integrated IR receivers in the connected keypads.
Additional features include white, almond, ivory and black inserts and trim plates for each keypad.
The Simplese Generation D AllPort Cable provides convenient termination of all speaker wire and cat. 5 cable for the Simplese system and connects easily to the amplifier through a single 25-pin terminal. Your Simplese system comes with one, but this replacement cable is available if needed.
