Automatically Switch Between Speaker and Line Level Inputs
Automatic Amplified Speaker Switch
- 30 watts/channel into 8 Ohms,
- < .05% THD (20Hz to 20 kHz),
- Frequency Response 10Hz to 50 kHz.
- Switches up to 120 watts/channel speaker input.
Connect one pair of speakers to an amplifier speaker output and a line level source and automatically switch between them. The line level input is amplified by a built-in 30 watt per channel amplifier. The system connects the speakers to the amplified speaker source until it senses a line level input. At this point it powers up the internal amplifier and switches to this source instead. When the line level inputs are no longer present, the internal amplifier powers down and the source is switched back to the amplified speaker inputs. An automatic power ON/OFF mute prevents popping of speakers during switch-over. Switching sensitivity and switch over delay time are adjustable. Use this system for rear surround sound speakers.
