If you're planning on buying expensive new audio equipment to operate a whole-house audio system, stop! With an 8-Speaker Distribution Panel, you'll be able to achieve whole-house audio using your existing stereo system -- for just a fraction of what it would cost to purchase new equipment. Just wire the Distribution Panel into your receiver's left and right speaker outputs, and the unit will expand the speaker capacity of your receiver or amplifier to handle up to eight pairs of speakers! The system provides a convenient termination point, or home run box, that allows you to easily and neatly organize a central speaker wire distribution point.

    The Distribution Panel features push-to-connect terminals that accept 22- to 8-gauge wire and built-in switchable impedance protection that can be switched in or out. The unit handles up to 100 watts of audio power with impedance protection switched out, and 60 watts of audio power with impedance protection switched in. What this means is that with impedance matching volume controls you can push up to 100 watts, otherwise you will be limited to 60 watts. Left and right channels are completely isolated, allowing for safe operation with any type amplifier.

    If you are pushing more than 60 watts total (100 Watts if you have impedance matching volume controls), consider using the Impedance Protected Speaker Connection Hub; for power handling up to 300 Watts.
