Ideal for movies, music and gaming, the ButtKicker LFE ("Low-Frequency Effects") is a silent subwoofer that mounts to your furniture and allows you to feel powerful bass without excessive volume. Easy to use with home theater seating, all types of furniture, or even under your floor, the ButtKicker LFE connects to your home theater or video game system in minutes. An amplifier is required to power this transducer and is sold separately. Connect the Buttkicker 1000-Watt Amplifier to power one or two ButtKicker units when wired in parallel. The ButtKicker LFE Kit contains both the ButtKicker LFE and ButtKicker Amplifier as well as all mounting and cable accessories you'll need to experience realistic special effects and concert-quality music, even at low volumes.

How it WorksThe ButtKicker LFE is a small, linear motor that reacts to an audio signal sent by the amplifier. It is similar to a loudspeaker, but instead of moving a cone and transferring sound waves through the air, it attaches to seats and floors and sends low frequency sound directly into the listener's body. The ButtKicker LFE utilizes a patented magnetic suspension and can be used with couches, theater seating, platforms, or any other type of structure. The ButtKicker accurately reproduce the "feeling" range of many natural and man-made sounds, such as earthquakes, thunderstorms, rocket launches, waves, explosions, tornadoes, volcanoes, dinosaurs, sound effects and all styles of music.
Variety of Accessories Available for Personalized InstallationDoes your system have wireless capabilities? The ButtKicker Wireless Package (sold separately) contains everything you'll need to enjoy your ButtKicker without running any additional wires to your furniture. If you'll be mounting your ButtKicker under a sofa or chair, you can install a Kinetic Noise Control Isolator under each furniture leg. These one-piece molded neoprene mounts with encapsulated metal inserts keep sound effects and vibration isolated to the seat, eliminating irritating vibration from other things in the room. Model 8257-120 supports 120 lbs. each, while model 8257-220 supports 220 lbs. each.
