The acoustically chambered speakers feature an enclosure that eliminates the two greatest headaches of installation. First, you will no longer have to worry about sound bleed-through into other rooms. The sound that is typically transferred into rooms above or behind the speaker is now redirected back into the room into which the speaker is firing. Second, the pair of speakers image as well as a good pair of floor standing speakers, because the cubic volume of each pair of Solution Series speakers is identical. Getting a pair of in-ceiling speakers to mirror each other has been virtually impossible with an infinite baffle design used by most other speaker manufacturer. This makes the Solution Series speakers ideal for both 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound systems. Additionally, these speakers are UL approved products, perfect for many condos that require a UL rating for units over two stories.

Utilizing a 6.5" coaxial driver with a 3/4" hard-dome tweeter and a computer-designed porting system, the CIW6.5 delivers impressive bass response and well-defined high frequencies. The coaxial design makes this speaker ideal for either in-wall or in-ceiling applications, maintaining consistent sound quality no matter how large the dead space in the wall or ceiling.The injection-molded polystyrene acoustic chamber provides consistent predictable performance in all applications by controlling the air space behind the wall. This creates an effective vapor barrier and controls 2nd and 3rd order harmonics, virtually eliminating standing waves inside the wall.
