The Posh Speaker Systems Solutions Series 4.0 Ceiling Speakers are high-performance, audiophile-quality speakers perfect for new and retrofit residential and commercial applications - and install in only minutes. The acoustically chambered speakers feature an enclosure that eliminates the two greatest headaches of installation. First, you will no longer have to worry about sound bleed-through into other rooms. The sound that is typically transferred into rooms above or behind the speaker is now redirected back into the room into which the speaker is firing. Second, the pair of speakers image as well as a good pair of floor standing speakers, because the cubic volume of each pair of Solution Series speakers is identical. Getting a pair of in-ceiling speakers to mirror each other has been virtually impossible with an infinite baffle design used by most other speaker manufacturer. This makes the Solution Series speakers ideal for both 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound systems. Additionally, these speakers are UL approved products, perfect for many condos that require a UL rating for units over two stories.

The Solutions 4.0 ported ceiling speaker is a four inch coaxial design, which offers a warm, pleasing full range sound while achieving well defined high end frequency response. The Solutions 4.0 can be retrofitted into any hard lid or drop tile ceiling. The speaker has a very low profile grille and the entire enclosure is only four inches deep, which allows it to fit into many spaces where other speakers just don't have room. A 3/4" swivel tweeter and a selector switch that allows either 8 ohm or 70/100 volt variable wattage taps makes this a superior entry-level speaker for either home or commercial applications. It also comes packed with all mounting hardware, including a grille puller that doubles as a wattage tap adjusting tool.
