Essential Info
Your pool pump uses more energy than most of your home appliances. So why pay to run it more than you need to? As the temperature drops, you use the pool less, so your pool pump should run less. Rather than adjusting the run time every couple of weeks, let the self-adjusting TightWatt Energy Saving Pool Timer do the work for you.

Keep your pool beautiful all year round with the TightWatt Energy Saving Pool Timer. This digital timer will replace your old Intermatic and adjusts automatically to run less frequently in the cold winter months.
Easy to install and operate, setting up your TightWatt pool timer takes only minutes. Set the time and date, choose up to two pump start times, and choose the maximum run time for summer and winter. The TightWatt can range from a minimum of three hours daily in December and January to a maximum of eight hours daily in the hot summer months when the pool is most likely to be used frequently, and with two start times, you can elect to run the pool timer morning and evening if desired. The pool pump can be turned on manually, as well.
Additional features of the TightWatt Energy Saving Pool Timer include a "Relay Open" safe mode. Most electronic timers don't offer a clear indicator of when they are going to turn on. The TightWatt Energy Saving Pool Timer's "Relay Open" mode opens both terminals of the relay, preventing the pump from turning on when you're changing out the pump motor or need the pump shut down for an extended period of time.
Add X10 communications to your pool timer. Connect your TightWatt Energy-Saving Pool Timer to an X10 powerline interface with the X10 Interface Cable for Pool Timer (sold separately).
A 9-volt backup battery (sold separately) can be installed for uninterrupted usage in the event of a power outage.
