If you own a Hot Link Pro (sold separately), then you know that this convenient system makes it possible to use your infrared remote control to manage up to six electronic components kept behind opaque doors, leaving only the clean lines of your entertainment center. Connect the Eye-With-Y adapter to your Hot Link Pro, and you'll be adding another receiving eye to the system to receive IR signals from a second location. This will enable you to control your components from another room or connect to a whole-house controller (sold separately) while retaining access to the components from the original area.

Expanding your IR control is easy. Insert the Eye-With-Y adapter, shaped like an F, into the main box, and then insert the original eye and the new eye into the two ports on the F.
The Eye-With-Y expansion unit will also work with the Hot Link Pro X12 to control 12 different components.
