Essential Info
If you keep your A/V components in a solid wood or fiberglass cabinet, you can still install a Hot Link Pro system to control your components without leaving the cabinet doors open. Ideal for mounting the Hot Link Pro eye when there is no other place to hide it, the Hot Link Pro Bezel holds the eye securely but discreetly in the cabinet door. The Hot Link Pro is sold separately.

Install the Hot Link Pro Bezel in a 1/2-inch diameter hole in the cabinet door, which will hold the unit snugly. Use the included silicone washer if desired to protect the bezel from breakage. Just insert the Hot Link Pro eye into the back of bezel. Installing the Hot Link Pro eye in the Hot Link Pro Bezel will reduce remote-to-eye distance from 70 feet to 20-35 feet, but you'll still be able to control components without leaving the cabinet doors open.
Note: Do not drill the hole in a location where the eye might pick up IR interference from LCD and plasma TVs.
