Essential Info
The Hot Link Pro (sold separately) is a remote control booster system that allows you to keep your A/V components behind cabinet doors. But what if you prefer to keep these components in another room entirely? The Emitter Extension Kit is an RJ45 adapter kit that makes it possible to add length to the Hot Link Pro's six emitters with RJ45 or twin lead wires in order to extend the IR emitters over 100 feet from the Hot Link Pro's main box. A pair of twin lead wires is included; for longer connections, use cat. 5e cable with RJ45 connectors (both sold separately).

This kit extends all six emitters for the Hot Link Pro with just two wires, extending the IR emitters over 100 feet from the main box so the remote controlled equipment can be located in closets or cabinets in another room. Extending the emitter set does not reduce performance of the remote-to-eye distance.
The Emitter Extension Kit is also sold as a kit with the Hot Link Pro Expansion Kit, adding six emitters to an existing Hot Link Pro for access to additional components kept behind closed cabinets.
