Essential Info
Some surround sound systems have a hole in the frequency response that makes mid-bass tones sound distant and thin. The 6-speaker Hsu Ventriloquist surround-sound system includes the Ventriloquist center channel, which has two dual voice coil woofers to play the deeper notes for the micro satellite speakers, thus lending the center channel speaker its name. With the less directional notes anchored to the center, the improvement is a dramatically flatter frequency response and sound as powerful as 5-1/2-inch woofer bookshelf systems in micro-satellite system easily hidden in your room's décor. You're left with full-bodied mid-bass at a budget-friendly price. Also included in this kit is a 150-watt powered subwoofer to fill in the low bass of music and movie effects. Speaker cable is sold separately.

This six-speaker set provides outstanding sound that truly leaves you in the center of the action. The rear center channel can create matrixed 6-channel surround sound on five-channel systems or be used as a discreet rear center in six-channel systems. The "Ventriloquist" effect causes the small front satellites to sound like much larger bookshelf speakers.
The surround sound system and the subwoofer can also be purchased separately; this kit saves you $100 over buying the components separately. A 200-watt powered subwoofer is also available kit and in a kit.
