Upgrade your audio system and bring sound to life using the Smarthome Select 5 Speaker In-Ceiling Surround Sound Package. This set of speakers will give you the ability to enjoy TV, music, video, and games in a surround sound environment. The package includes five Smarthome Select 6" in-ceiling speakers with a flush-mount design for a professional appearance. Manufactured to meet our customers' need for premium sound, high-quality construction, and ultimate value, each speaker represents everything that great speakers should be. Constructed with 1" liquid-cooled silk dome tweeters, kapton voice coils and copolymer cones, these speakers create a dramatically rich sound stage with crisp vocals, smooth mid-range, and deep resounding bass that is beyond compare. No matter where you put these speakers in your ceiling or what the shape of the room is, the built-in directional tweeters can be adjusted to help compensate for 95 percent of the sound-damaging aspects of a room. Simply adjust the directional tweeters toward the 'sweet spot' or prime listening area of the room and the speakers will do the rest. Now the speech, vocals, and high frequency sounds emanating from the speakers will reach the audience as they were originally intended to and not be projected into the floor. For a complete 5.1 surround sound speaker system, you will need to add a subwoofer, sold separately. To upgrade to a 7.1 surround sound speaker system, you will need to add a subwoofer and an additional pair of Smarthome Select 6-Inch In-ceiling Speakers, each sold separately.

Full 1" Liquid Cooled Silk Dome Tweeter
Most speakers of this size use 1/2" or 3/4" tweeters that can deliver less-than-optimal response in the high-frequency range (12,000 Hz - 20,000Hz). The pivoting silk dome tweeters built into the Smarthome Select 6" In-ceiling Speakers are not only very efficient, but they are liquid cooled to ensure proper sound reproduction at high volume levels for extended periods of time, allowing you to enjoy your music at any volume level you wish for as long as you please.

Speakers should be heard and not seen. These elegantly designed speakers blend into your decor with their flush-mount design and low-profile grilles. For an even more custom look, the removable grilles can be painted to match the texture and color of your ceilings, and the included paint shield can be used to customize the speaker bezel without removing the speakers from their installed positions.
