Essential Info

Use this DC IR Signal Block with your splitter/combiner to professionally complete your system. If you are using coax lines to carry DC signals (for power or IR signals), place this DC IR Signal Block on output lines that connect directly to a TV set or VCR (and not to a camera or IR splitter.) The DC Block will prevent the DC signals from being shorted inside the tuner of the TV or VCR.

Just what was needed to keep from shorting the DC signal where the coax is directly connected to a TV when coming from the splitter. Keeps the IR signal strong from the devices that use this signal.
