Essential Info
Xantech has designed a network to control your A/V system using inputs from various sensors - power on/off, video or audio signal sensing, etc. This Audio Sensor Module installs between an audio source (iPod, CD or DVD player, tuner, etc.) and an amplifier. When it senses that audio signals are present, it sends a signal to the controller. Power is supplied by the Current Sensor Connecting Block.

Part of a Versatile Control SystemThis Audio Sensor is only one of a wide range of sensors to send signals to your programmable controller. Here's the complete list:
Current Sensor Connecting Block and Current Sensing Module - work together to sense whether your "master" component's power is on or off
Audio Sensor Module - senses audio signals from a CD or MP3 player, etc
Video Sensor Module - senses video signals from a satellite receiver, DVD player, etc
Audio Sensor Module - trigger events with audio signals from your iPod dock or AM-FM tuner
Magnetic Sensor Module - uses the magnetic field surrounding AC wiring, CRT monitors, or AC motors
LED & Light - signals when it detects light
Contact Closure - triggers upon contact closure
AC/DC Voltage - triggers with AC or DC voltage from 9 to 24 volts
Simple InstallationPlug into either left or right line-in on an amplifier, then connect to your Current Sensor Connecting Block. Adjust the sensitivity & time delay controls and you're finished.
Note: use for line-level signals only. Do not use with amplifier outputs or speaker volume controls.
