Teach your child independence by allowing him to take control of his entertainment with the weemote® dV. Made for little hands, the weemote dV is a remote control specifically designed to allow children to access and control content interactively when using onscreen menus such as those typically found on DVD media. The weemote dV can control a variety of digital devices that require interactive commands. The weemote dV operates on 2 AAA batteries, sold separately.

The weemote dV is designed to help children navigate the wealth of content available on DVD players, DVRs and set-top devices that feature interactive TV. Supported devices include DVD players, TV/DVD players, VCR/DVD players, DVRs, and digital set-top devices, such as cable or satellite. Please note that only one device can be setup with the weemote DV at one time, and since the weemote dV only sends infrared (IR) signals, it will not work if your set-top device uses a radio-frequency (RF) remote control.
Setting up your weemote dV is quick and easy. Simply enter in the setup code for any DVD player as listed in the included instructions, or take advantage of the unit's full learning technology. This feature enables parents to point and click the device's existing remote at the weemote dV, which will automatically learn the commands and controls of the existing remote and replicate them. The battery door and program door are fully secured using a captive screw, so you don't need to worry about little hands prying it open to change codes or remove batteries. With the built-in library of DVD codes and the learning mode, you can set up the weemote dV to work in your car - especially good on those long trips!
The weemote dV is designed to operate one device at a time, so it won't control multiple DVD players or both a DVD player and a digital cable box. However, you can always go back and setup the weemote dV to work on a new or different device, at any time. All settings are also permanently stored in memory, regardless of the state of your batteries.
To manage which television channels your children can access, try the weemote 3 instead (sold separately).
