I bought this product because my cable box was no longer correctly changing my Tivo Series 2 recorder. However, after being gone for one week, this has proven to be a poor solution. The emitter has problems with certain channels, so I have 5 days of the wrong TV shows. I'll probably just toss it aside and look for another solution. NOT RECOMMENDED from my experience.

Wish I had known about this little gadget when I first purchased by tivo! The ir that came with the tivo never worked properly with my cable box (i.e., wouldnt change the channel properly most of the time). This guy was easy to install and always changes the channel correctly.

A change in cable provider required me to have a "box" installed for channel selection. Since this TV is in a cabinet, I needed the emitter to "see" the changer. It works for volume, but does not for channel changing. I'm not sure why. I still have to keep the cabinet door open.

Great product. Works well with Windows Media Center in Windows Vista.

Once I have gotten these flashers lined up with the receivers on my devices they have worked great. They also have a nice indicator LED on them which helps me track down interference in the system.
