The Kameleon 8-in-1 Touchscreen Remote offers a sleek, screen-changing feature, but at a fraction of the price of its LCD counterparts. The Kameleon 8-in-1 Touchscreen Remote can control eight different devices, but it only illuminates the set of keys needed to control your selected device on its electro-luminescent touch display panel. The Kameleon is powered by four alkaline or NiMH AAA batteries (sold separately).

Since the Kameleon 8-in-1 Touchscreen Remote can control eight different A/V devices, you'll be able to manage your entire home theater system with a single, elegant remote. The Kameleon can even support today's modern components, including HDTVs, DVRs, cable boxes, satellite receivers, and combination devices. But the Kameleon's "intelligent" illumination enables all required functions of these devices without adding key clutter to the remote, keeping it intuitive and easy to use.
The Kameleon 8-in-1 Touchscreen Remote comes pre-programmed with a vast library of device and manufacturer codes, but it can also learn functions from your existing remotes. This remote control will never become out of date: Upgrade the remote's setup codes with a single phone call at any time.
Program up to 5 macros, one-button commands that initiate a string of events. You can even trigger up to 7 devices to power on or off at once. The Kameleon's built-in home theater feature intelligently aggregates all the commands needed to control four groups of remote control keys without having to change the various devices in a home theater system.
The Kameleon 8-in-1 Remote is pre-programmed with the IR codes to control the X10 IR Command Console (sold separately). Just place the X10 IR Command Console next to your TV or A/V gear, and you'll not only be able to control your home entertainment system, you'll also be able to turn lights on or off, open or close automated drapes, even adjust the temperature on your X10 thermostat! Devices to be controlled require X10 modules (sold separately).
Additional features include adjustable brightness.
