Excellent value. Searched for hours for a low-cost, high quality DA to utilize in a professional video editing suite. We use them to amplify and distribute video/audio from a professional editing system directly to VHS decks. Broadcast DA's cost 3 and 4 times as much without any increase in signal quality. And Smarthome DA's are MUCH better than Radio Shack models similar in price. Radio Shack models don't keep left and right audio channels seperated correctly and introduce objectionable noise into the video. They also have cheap plastic housings and the connectors seem loose and fragile. Smarthome models have a nice metal housing, sturdy construction, solid connectors. Great product at a fair price.

The distrib amp works perfect. I am very satisfied with the quality and the signal fidelity. The price was surprising since I had found the same item in several places at a much higher price. So far, it has exceeded my expectations.
