"Works as promised. Excellent picture quality. " - EDWARD - AURORA, IL
"I am the multimedia director at my church. We primarily use Kramer products in our complicated system for burning DVD's on the fly, projecting live feeds, switching to computer applications, producing live streams, and archiving the audio/video of each service. One of our distribution amplifiers went down and I quickly ran to RadioShack (about a half-mile down the street) to get a replacement so it wouldn't interrupt our video work that Sunday. Instead of replacing that RadioShack model immediately, I tried the highly-rated CE Labs AV 400SV Prograde S-Video Distribution Amplifier. Many other churches have these installed, so I had no worries. The 400SV is a stout puppy. The connections are much tighter than on the RadioShack, which has a design all but prohibiting S-Video cables with thick plugs to actually be pushed into the jack. The 400SV worked right out of the box, as expected, but I was amazed to find it produced a noteworthy, GRAINY image. Unbelievably, one could discern--with the naked eye--that the image wasn't as sharp as the less-ballyhooed RadioShack model. The images projected were not only more grainy, but they had a bluish haze. I reconfigured all our projectors and Kramer equipment that afternoon to try to compensate but the image just wasn't good enough to continue to use the product. I returned it after trying it for only two services, switched back to the RadioShack model (by the way, it may produce an acceptable image but the product wasn't consistently working) until I could receive a Kramer 103YC once again. There is no doubt the Kramer 103YC is far superior to either the RadioShack or CE Labs 400SV distribution amplifiers. The 103YC also has separate dial controls for Y(luma) and C(chroma) boost. All three of these models are relatively inexpensive products and aren't the best on the market, I'm sure. But, if I had to give advice to someone on which bargain basement one of the three to buy, the stout 400SV from CE Labs would actually be my last pick based on actual test experience in our configuration." - DARRELL - FORT WORTH, TX
"Product delivers a picture that is a good as the original. Highly recommend it." - ROBERT - NAPLES, FL
