Essential Info
If you're setting up a Xantech IR repeating system to control A/V components in another room, it's a good idea to test your connecting block's IR emitter jacks to verify that the signal is being received prior to connecting IR emitters to all of your components. The Test-IR Tester LED connects to the Amplified 10-Emitter Connecting Block to verify that the IR signal is being received from each room. Emitters and connecting blocks are sold separately, as are all components of the Xantech IR repeating system.

The Test-IR Tester LED features an LED on one end and a 3.5mm jack on the other. With a 6-foot cable connecting them, you'll have ample lead to see the LED when it's plugged into the connecting block.
