The Xantech XSS26100W 2-Source 6-Zone 100W Speaker Selector and Volume Control provides an easy-to-use, easy-to-install, centralized speaker control unit. It allows switching between two amplified source inputs. Premium components are used to provide high-quality acoustical speaker distribution and independent volume control. It is compatible with 4 ohm or 8 ohm speaker systems. The Speaker Selector requires no external power source and is easily rack mounted with the included ears and hardware. The Selector offers selectable impedance matching for 1, 2, or 3/4 speaker pairs.

Important Note This speaker selector may not be compatible with all types of home theater receivers and amplifiers; such as common ground, IC chip output amplifier circuits etc. Some amps in the 80's had internally bridged circuits that could fail. These were in the so called "Rack Systems". The speaker selectors should operate fine with most good quality amplifiers. Generally 100 watts per channel, stable to 4 ohms, and over the $500.00 price point.
