It can be used with a Xantech DIGI-5 1-Source, 4-Zone Cat. 5 Whole-Home Digital Audio Distribution Kit, but is also suitable for a Xantech DIGI-5 4-Source, 4-Zone Cat. 5 Whole-Home Digital Audio Distribution Kit. The remote control uses infrared (IR) communication to switch between sources and control volume, mute, and power. This compact remote is ideal for controlling basic source functionality on a DIGI-5 audio system, a more advanced DIGI-5 IR Learning Remote Control is sold separately.
