The Repeaters can install in any ½-inch opening, and extends about ½-inch from the wall after installation. Typical mounting locations include equipment cabinets, ceilings, walls, inside speakers and other low-profile locations. The round micro sensor can be installed in any standard electrical box or P-ring.
These Tube-Style Infrared Repeaters also features voltage regulation, allowing for consistent sensitivity and immunity from power supply noise. Furthermore, an LED confirms when an infrared signal is received.
Cat. 5 cable is recommended for conections.
Typical range is 40 ft. with acceptance angle of 130 degrees. Extensive shielding and special ground plane PCB design creates robust immunity to electrical noise.
Note to plasma TV owners: You may experience interference depending upon the distance and angle at which this sensor is mounted in relation to your plasma television.
