The DIGI-5 IR Learning Remote Control is a simple to program, easy to use infrared (IR) remote control that out of the box, is programmed to control any DIGI-5 audio system. It can be used with a Xantech DIGI-5 1-Source, 4-Zone Cat. 5 Whole-Home Digital Audio Distribution Kit, but is also suitable for a Xantech DIGI-5 4-Source, 4-Zone Cat. 5 Whole-Home Digital Audio Distribution Kit as it can control up to four source devices, such as a receiver, CD player, or MP3 player. The DIGI-5 Learning Remote comes with a built-in IR code library containing hundreds of different makes and models. It can automatically find source commands and learn Macro commands that consists of several IR commands under one button. The remote also has the ability to n learn individual IR commands. Each Xantech Audio distribution kit features keypads with a built-in IR receiver, so you can put an IR Learning Remote Control in each zone of your whole-home audio system for the ultimate in wireless control. This product is powered by two AA batteries, sold separately.

Please Note: The remote control will not lose your settings when the batteries die or when new batteries are installed.
