Essential Info
Installing an IR delivery system is a convenient way to maintain control of your A/V components, even if they're installed in another room. The Dinky Link and Micro Link IR Receivers are ideal for controlling speaker volume or passing other commands when the stereo is located remotely. But you don't need to deal with the interference caused by direct or reflected sunlight shining on this IR receiver. Install the Sunscreen Filter for the Xantech Dinky Link & Micro Link IR Receiver to reduce the amount of IR interference caused by the sun. The Dinky Link and Micro Link IR Receivers are sold separately.

Two lenses of each size are included in the Sun Filter Kit for Xantech Dinky Link and Micro Link IR Receivers. The black lens filters out all visible light and only allows infrared light to pass through. The white lens reduces the total amount of light by approximately 66 percent, not only reducing infrared interference from the sun but also cutting the effective IR remote range.
The Sunscreen Filters should be applied directly to the IR Receiver with transparent tape, sold separately.
