Essential Info
Use an infrared remote to control your drapes, projection screen, or any other application that requires dry switch closures. The 1 Double-Pole Double-Throw Remote Relay Module is a 5-amp, 30V DC-rated relay with four available contacts: two normally open, two normally closed. By programming a universal remote, you'll be able to send IR signals to the relay module to open drapes, close them, or stop them at any point in between. The RC68+ Programmer (sold separately) contains all the commands necessary to operate this relay module. The RC68+ is required to program universal learning devices with commands to operate the module. The 12V power supply is also required and sold separately.

The RC68+ commands are "taught" to learning devices and passed to the IR IN, and GND input terminals of the CC12 signal input terminals via Xantech IR Receivers, Keypads and Connecting Blocks (sold separately). An LED indicates contact status.
The 781RG powers the 1 Double-Pole Double-Throw Remote Relay Module as well as supplying the needed 12 volts to activate the controlled device. If more than 200 mA is required to operate the controlled device, a higher current power supply must be used, such as the 782-00 (12V, 1A). The 1 Double-Pole Double-Throw Remote Relay Module can be operated with a DC control voltage at the CI terminal, instead of IR, if desired. This allows the switching of high-current systems (up to 5 amps) with a low-current DC control signal.
The code sub-group switch allows a choice of 8 different groups of the four RC68+ commands that operate the 1 Double-Pole Double-Throw Remote Relay Module. This prevents mutual interaction in common IR systems when using more than one relay module. Also, internal E2 PROM can be set to different code groups, allowing up to 240 different IR code combinations if the system uses more than eight relay modules. A Remote Module with 6 double-pole, double-throw relays is also available.
