Essential Info

Ideal for items that connect with 3.5mm stereo mini plugs, such as IR sensors and emitters, the 10-Foot Mono Cable has a 3.5mm male plug on each end and can act as an extension cord to add flexibility in placement for your A/V components. Connect the item to the 10-Foot Mono Cable using the Adapter Jack, an in-line 3.5mm mini-jack connecting jack.

"Was not clear on the website that internal wiring was stranded rather than 3 separate wires, which is what was needed. Didn't find out until I cut the wire, thereby losing my money. Yes it's true that I could have phoned to ask, but it's a natural assumption that "extra" wiring like this that is likely purchased regularly to augment the built-in wiring of your IR systems (i.e., 3 separate internal wires) would include 3 separate internal wires rather than stranded.
