If you are looking for a complete multi-room audio package that distributes a single audio source out to four zones, consider using the DIGI-5 - 1-Source, 4-Zone Cat. 5 Whole-Home Digital Audio Distribution Kit. The beauty of the DIGI-5 system is that each of the components in this kit can be connected to the distribution hub via Cat. 5 cable, sold separately. Using Cat. 5 cable makes installation easier as each connection requires only one cable; between the power supply and the hub, the local source input and the hub, and each of four keypads and the hub. The only other connections needed are connecting speakers to the keypads via speaker wire and connecting an audio source (CD player, MP3 Player, DVD player or Blu-ray player) to the included local source input wall plate (via an Analog Audio, Digital Optical Audio or Digital Coaxial Audio cable); speakers, speaker wire, and audio cable sold separately. From the keypads in each of the four zones, you will be able to control the audio source (via the included IR emitter); a built-in IR receiver even lets you operate the keypad and control the audio source via the included remote control. For larger applications you can even link multiple systems together, creating a 1-Source Source, 8 Zone System or even a 1-Source, 32 Zone System. About DIGI-5 Technology
DIGI-5 is a revolutionary new technology standard that provides a complete end-to-end digital audio solution over CAT-5 wiring. DIGI-5 is based on advanced digital distribution and amplification circuits that allow multi-room audio systems to be installed quickly and cost effectively. DIGI-5 is a collaboratively developed technology that is licensed by the Linear Home Technology Group and is being initially integrated on a Linear group-wide basis, targeted to expand market and consumer acceptance of such systems.
DIGI-5 Digital Distribution System Wall Mount 1-Source, 4-Zone Hub
The DIGI-5 Digital Audio Distribution Hub is capable of providing a complete single source, four zone audio distribution system. Additionally, it has the capability to expand to additional zones using a second Digital Audio Distribution Hub. A Basic Single Source, 4 Zone System has an audio source connected to the Digital Audio Distribution Hub via a local source input wall plate and four keypads are connected to the Digital Audio Distribution Hub. Once all wiring has been made and verified, the power supply connects to the Digital Audio Distribution Hub to power the system.
DIGI-5 Keypads
The DIGI-5 - 1-Source, 4-Zone Cat. 5 Whole-Home Digital Audio Distribution Kit includes four DIGI-5 Keypads. Each keypad is a Decora style and fits into a single-gang box; includes a Decora gasket for a flush fit. It is an amplified OLED controller and is required to control each zone of a DIGI-5 Digital Distribution System. It provides Source Selection, Volume, Mute and Power control as well as control of all connected audio sources with its built-in IR receiver. Additionally, it provides amplification for the zone's speakers using an on-board 30 watts per channel Digital amplifier. Additional features include:

DIGI-5 Local Source Input Wall Plate
The DIGI-5 Local Source Input Wall Plate allows a Local Source (a source located within a remote room away from the main distribution system) to be connected to the main distribution system. It can easily connect with the DIGI-5 Keypad Amplifier and the DIGI-5 Digital Distribution System Wall Mount 1-Source, 4-Zone Hub. The plate provides connections for Analog Audio, Digital Optical Audio, Digital Coaxial Audio, and IR Control. Additional features include:

Wall Mount Power Supply
The Wall Mount Power Supply delivers clean, efficient power to the DIGI-5 - 1-Source, 4-Zone Cat. 5 Whole-Home Digital Audio Distribution System. It provides power to the Wall Mount 1x4 Hub and has enough power capacity to supply power directly to each keypad zone for higher dynamic audio performance. Additional features include:

Blink-IR Designer Emitter
The Blink-IR Designer Emitter contains a small Infrared LED housed in a miniature, designer styled, black appearing, injection molded plastic shell. It emits visible red light in addition to infrared (IR) control signals when activated by IR commands sent to it by IR receivers or other Xantech controllers. The emitter is designed to be installed directly on the IR sensor window of the controlled device. Additional features include:
