Essential Info
There is no longer a need to leave entertainment cabinet doors open simply to use your IR remote control. The DLP/CRT Proof Dinky Link IR Receiver Kit makes it possible to control up to four different audio and video components behind solid doors or walls using your existing IR remote. The included DLP/CRT Proof Dinky Link IR receiver was designed for mounting in very small spaces. The included connecting block supplies power to the IR receiver via the included power supply. The connecting block receives IR signals coming from the IR receiver and distributes the IR signals out to your audio and video components using the included IR emitters. The use of this kit will leave you with the clean lines of your entertainment center without looking at unsightly stacks of equipment and cables. You can continue using your existing IR remote with the confidence it will communicate with your AV equipment behind doors and walls. Includes Black, Silver and White trim kits.
Local System Application
Another application is to locate the IR receiver in a central location, such as the TV, video screen and/or a speaker. The audio/video equipment can then be hidden inside a cabinet or located away from the front of a room. This will give the end-user the ability to direct a remote control to one central location and not have to worry about aiming to the respective device to be controlled.
Remote Room Application
One application is to locate the IR receiver in a remote room. This will give the end-user the ability to control audio/video equipment from a location where the remote control no longer has the ability of direct line-of-sight.

IR Receiver
This small DLP/CRT Proof Dinky Link IR Receiver has been designed for mounting in very small spaces. It may be mounted under shelf edges, cabinet ledges, in wall speakers, or anywhere an inconspicuous appearance is desired. The high sensitivity of this receiver allows placement behind speaker grilles and still receives IR commands up to 80 feet away. The receiver is designed to be used with DLP or CRT style televisions, as they do not offer LCD or Plasma interference filters.
Connecting Block
The included connecting block supplies power to the IR receiver, receives IR signals coming from the IR receiver, and distributes the IR signals out to four devices using the included emitters. The four parallel emitter ports drive four Blink-IR Designer single emitters (included) or four dual emitters, sold separately.
Power Supply
A high-efficiency power supply specified to provide power to the connecting block. A versatile plug has a locking indentation ring providing a secure connection. A small form-factor allows tighter installation and reduces a clumsy rack-installation.
Visible Designer Emitters
The DLP/CRT Proof Dinky Link IR Receiver Kit includes four Blink-IR Designer single emitters. Each emitter is 10 feet long and plugs into the connecting block via a 3.5mm mono mini plug. The emitters attach to the IR window of your audio and video equipment using clear adhesive film; the emitters also come with three pre-cut adhesive backings for replacement purposes.
