Essential Info
This IR receiver is ideal for hidden mounting in the space behind speaker grills. Just point your remote at the speaker to control your system. Ths Quick-Connect Dinky Link plugs directly into Xantehc's connecting blocks with its 3.5mm plug. Up to four can be connected in series; use a Xantech 1-Zone single-emitter or 4-emitter connecting block (sold separately) for emitter expansion. The white color of the Dinky Link receiver blends with your room's decor; if you prefer, it is also available in black.NOTE: The status LED on your IR repeater should only be lit when it is receiving an IR signal from your remote control. If you notice that the LED is always on, you may be getting interference from your television or the ambient light in the room. This will cause the system to overheat and will burn out prematurely. There are LCD and Plasma safe kits which filter out the interference coming from your television.
