Essential Info
Hide your A/V equipment in a closet and still maintain control using this kit. This kit contains everything you'll need to control four different components. NOTE: The status LED on your IR repeater should only be lit when it is receiving an IR signal from your remote control. If you notice that the LED is always on, you may be getting interference from your television or the ambient light in the room. This will cause the system to overheat and will burn out prematurely. There are LCD and Plasma safe kits which filter out the interference coming from your television.

More Info

Xantech's Dinky Link Kit contains a receiver that accepts the IR commands from your existing remote controls and sends them to AV components in a cabinet or closet. It can be mounted anywhere an inconspicuous appearance is desired, such as in walls, ceilings, or or your A/V cabinet. Since it is so highly sensitive, you can even place it behind a speaker grill and still control it via IR commands up to 30 feet away!
Complete Kit - Everything You Need for IR ControlThe receiver comes outfitted with a 7-foot cable with a 3.5mm plug, which inserts into the included 789-44 connecting block. Four 283M IR mouse emitters attach to the connecting block and cover the IR sensor windows of the components you wish to control. The Dinky Link Kit also comes complete with Xantech's 781RG power supply.
For an operating range of up to 30 feet, direct line of sight is needed. Place the Dinky Link anwhere in view from your normal seating position - next to your TV, under the A/V receiver or DVD player, or hide it behind a speaker grill. Up to 20 units may be powered by the included power supply. Additional features include a system-testing talk-back LED.
Do You Have a Plasma or LCD TV? Xantech designed special Dinky Link receivers to resist the interference from LCD displays or fluorescent lamps and plasma TVs, so you can mount the receiver anywhere in any room with confidence.
The black color of the Dinky Link receiver blends with your room's decor; if you prefer, the kit is also available in white.
