Essential Info
The interference from a plasma TV can wreak havoc with your IR control system. Xantech designed this Dinky Link to resist the interference from plasma TVs, as well as that from LCD displays, fluorescent lighting, and sunlight.. You can mount this receiver anywhere in any room with confidence. The Dinky Link's small size and white color help hide it amongst your AV components or behind a speaker grill. Up to four can be connected in series; use a Xantech 1-Zone single-emitter or 4-emitter connecting block (sold separately) for emitter expansion. This product is not compatible with Scientific Atlantic HD8300 series cable boxes. If you have one of these boxes you would need to use the plasma proof versions listed here.

Use Xantech's components to build an IR distribution system - you can hide your AV gear in a cabinet or closet and send IR commands from your existing remote controls. Start with this Dinky Link receiver, add a connecting block and power supply, then add as many emitters as you need.
Xantech designed this Dinky Link to resist the interference from plasma TVs, so you can mount the receiver anywhere in any room with confidence. In addition to rejecting plasma interference, it also rejects interference from LCD displays, compact fluorescent lighting (CFL), and sunlight - you can use this Dinky Link anywhere.
For an operating range of up to 30 feet, direct line of sight is needed. Place the Dinky Link anwhere in view from your normal seating position - next to your TV, under the AV receiver or DVD player, or hide it behind a speaker grill. Additional features include a system-testing talk-back LED.
This receiver is also available in black or silver to best blend with your AV components or decor.
