- Determines powered state of video equipment
Essential Info
Global Caché's GC-SV1 Video Out Sensor monitors the power status of video equipment by detecting the presence of a composite video signal. The Video Out Sensor is an excellent way to determine the power state of video equipment. When your VCR or DVD player is powered up, a video signal will be present even if the tape or DVD is not in play mode. The Video Out Sensor can be plugged directly into the Global Caché's GC-100 Network Adapter connecting the sensor to the network. Additionally, the Video Out Sensor will work with other controllers that provide 5V power and accept digital logic (TTL) input. The Video Out Sensor connector is a standard 3.5mm stereo jack. It requires +5V to operate, and it provides a sensor output representing the presence of a composite video signal.
