LARRY -- coopersburg, PA   4/30/2012
Easy to setup runs reliably with remote software that I use.
MARK -- goodyear, AZ   2/7/2012
Easy to use & install; a good way to gain control of various IR ports. Good value.
WHITNEY -- lincoln, CA   2/3/2012
Feature loaded and very easy to setup and use. I have three and they have never failed me yet.

Simple functional design that works great. Takes a bit of work to integrate into your system but the customizability is well worth it. I am using an internal web site to send commands to the device in response to button presses (effectively creating a touch-screen remote on my iPhone) and it works great. Only complaint is that the included IR blaster does not seem to send as strong of a signal as the original IR remotes for the devices, meaning the blaster cannot be positioned exactly where I would like.
SCOTT -- wheeling, IL   7/7/2011
It should be made clear(er) that there is no client software provided; only software to capture IR remote codes, and software to play them back for testing. It is not a stand-alone device, it's made for use with devices like Crestron controllers, or custom application code. I use it in a Lab environment with Perl (Net::Telnet) and it works great.
MARK -- parker, CO   7/7/2011
It arrived on time and works as advertised. I'm controlling all my IR devices from my desktop computer now using my own Silverlight code. When you have a TV on one wall, cable box across the room and security system behind yet another wall - this thing really comes in handy!
RUSLAN -- pleasanton, CA   7/1/2011
Awesomely tiny device. Works great, but lacks the comprehensive library of IR codes (resulting in the long trial-and-error code entry). Most native apps are available for PC only. But third-party software for capturing IR codes on Mac works fine for me.
PAUL -- frenchville, XX   5/4/2011
Purchased this for use with the iRule application on iOS - excellent device. Works flawlessly, amazingly small, and the built in IR learner is excellent. Installation was a breeze, just plug in, let it pick up a DHCP address and then point the iRule app at it.
CHRIS -- huntington station, NY   1/31/2011
This is one great product, I use it for IR commands with both a Universal Devices ISY 99, and iRule remote control app. Installation and configuration took very little effort.
CHRIS -- omaha, NE   1/13/2011
I am disappointed with getting this unit to work and have been unsuccessful in getting timely support from the manufacturer (no response in over a week). I think it is a hardware issue and I need to request a new unit.
JOHN -- canton, GA   10/2/2010
Very simple installation, Easy to use.
Ryan -- redondo beach, California   7/16/2011
Great product if you know what you are doing. It's small, decently inexpensive, and does everything I need it to do. If there is anything to complain about, it has to be that the package doesn't come with a CD of any software or manuals. You have to go online to download all that stuff. If you're a hacker/programmer, it's super easy to make your own software because this works over IP. You can use just about any modern programming language to write your own software...perl, c#, java, etc. If you are not a programmer don't worry, all you have to do is pay some money for someone else's software, like iRule. There might be some free stuff out there too but I haven't looked. Another great thing about this is it comes with all the IR goodies anyone needs. For power, It comes with a wall wart and a USB power plug so it can be powered from any USB Host. I have mine powered by the USB power from my cable box so I don't even need the wall wart. There are a lot of things I like about this product and I highly recommend it.
