Essential Info
Until now, rack-mounted equipment has presented a challenge when wiring an infrared repeater system. Finding a way to wire the emitters to the front of the rack can be very frustrating. The RackIt IR is a stylish, one rack height unit that allows easy plug-in of IRDirect steerable plug-in emitters in combination with IRPrism stick-on lenses (adheres over equipment IR receivers) for a very low-profile, professional-looking installation that gets the signals to the right place every time. Three IR emitters are included; additional IR emitters are sold separately.

In addition to the included 12 VDC power supply, the RackIt IR includes a jack for an optional 12VDC 500mA wall adapter (#7590A). By plugging the adapter into your receiver's switched AC outlet, you will provide SYS-TAT power whenever the receiver is turned on.
