Essential Info
Use this shelf-top IR receiver when you can't drill into a cabinet or piece of equipment and use the smaller hidden sensors. This sensor is about an inch high and about 3.25" wide and includes a 'talkback' LED so you'll know the command was received and sent to the emitter. NOTE: The status LED on your IR repeater should only be lit when it is receiving an IR signal from your remote control. If you notice that the LED is always on, you may be getting interference from your television or the ambient light in the room. This will cause the system to overheat and will burn out prematurely. There are LCD and Plasma safe kits which filter out the interference coming from your television.
