Hate having to stop and ask for directions, especially when it seems like everyone you ask is just as lost as you are? Never ask for directions again with the GPS Watch! This incredible device uses the Global Positioning System of satellites to pinpoint your exact location in about 15 seconds (40 seconds for cold start), no matter where you are in the world! Just press a button and the watch will use the 27 GPS satellites to determine your location (within 10 meters). Perfect for camping trips, business travel, road trips, and much more!
The GPS Watch displays exact location in latitude and longitude, measuring in degrees, minutes, and seconds. Find remote campsites without complicated maps, or watch your progress as you drive or travel long distances! The watch can be set to automatically correct the time displayed based on satellite data, so you won't ever have to reset it when you travel across time zones. Set up to 10 different landmarks, with a different icon for each of them (15 icons are selectable), and the watch can sound an arrival alarm every time you reach a landmark or arrive at your destination.
Automatically store up to 400 sets of location information at selectable intervals (between one second and 60 minutes), and you can retrace every step you've taken along the way! Scout out hiking trips in advance, or record where you've been and how far you've traveled! Use the built-in altimeter to display and record elevation along with longitude and latitude coordinates. The GPS Watch is water resistant to 50 meters, and has electroluminescent backlighting, so you can always read your watch (even if you can't find your flashlight).
The watch has loads of features, including a daily alarm, an hourly time signal, a low battery warning, auto-calendar (through 2039), 12- or 24-hour formats, and regular time- and date-keeping with an accuracy of +/- 30 seconds each month. It uses a built-in rechargeable battery that can be charged by either AC power or 6 AAA batteries, so you can easily recharge at home or while on an outdoor adventure! To charge, simply place the entire watch in the charging cradle. You don't need to remove the batteries to charge them, so you save time and preserve the water-resistance of the watch! The batteries should last for 160 individual GPS measurements, or approximately four hours of automatic measurement at 1-minute intervals. The charger can also upload watch data to your PC with the included software and the included 9-pin serial cable. Approximately 2 �" x 2" x �", 3 ounces.
