Loud...does the job.

I recieved this lock and was amased at how strong and well built it is. I use it on my adult 3 wheel bike to protect my investment. It is very sturdy and very easy to use, the siren is loud to get attention, there are so many other reasons to purchase one of these I will buy 3 more very soon.

good product just a shame you just have to hold the lock to drown out the siren

Product did not fit on a high school locker and therefore was not able to be used for our purpose.

This is a very solid lock that performs as advertised. My only disappointment is that 100-105db is not really all that loud and the 10 second duration is not really long enough to deter an “opponent”. After working with the lock I’ve realized that 120db and 60 seconds would be much better. I did have one technical difficulty where the lock appeared to not alarm when I first attempted to use it. After I disassembled it, jury-rigged the alarm, and tried it, it worked fine. Then I reassembled and the same problem occurred (I discovered that that point that the alarm was working but it was just barely audible). After some experimentation, I determined that the screws that hold the bottom cover in place could not be tightened too much. A slight loosening of them allowed the alarm to work properly (yet it is still not loud enough for my taste).
